On June 5, 2025 a delegation of “Linyi Chengfa Education and Culture Industry Group Co., Ltd.” visited Belarusian State Technological University. The delegation was headed by Mr. Zhu Jie, Vice-Chairman of the Party Committee and Trade Union Chairman.

?“Linyi Chengfa” Group is a government-owned corporation with its main activities focusing on education and international cooperation. The company is highly interested in building sustainable partnership with BSTU and fostering collaboration in such fields as education, academic exchange, educational and research projects and adopting of best teaching practices.

The delegation visited the Museum of History and Education, Exhibition of Research Developments and BSTU Xylotheque – the country’s unique and only collection of domestic and exotic wood species.?

Andrei Hauryliuk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs gave a detailed overview of the educational capacity of the University and highlighted the areas which held great promise for the future cooperation.

In the course of the talks the Chinese delegation expressed their high interest in creating and running of double-degree Bachelor programs, in particular, in Environmental Engineering. In the nearest future the Chinese party will explore the curriculum of the mentioned study program.

A further step will be creation of a mutually-agreed curriculum for the new double-degree program to be launched. The initiative is to be undertaken within the framework of long-term partnership with Linyi University of Technology. ????
